Who is Total Mobility?
Our history starts in 1989 as Gene's Truck & Van Outfitters located in Indianola, IA. We felt that Iowans
were not getting quality, knowledgeable service in the "auto adaptive" area, (ie. Wheelchair lifts, hand operated
gas and brake controls and other related modifications.) So we began installing wheelchair lifts in vans and finding
solutions for all kinds of physical challenges. We felt every Iowan we could help would be one more person that we could change
the quality of their life for the bettter!! All of our employees are factory trained, certified and the friendliest
bunch of individuals you'll meet! We are here for you today, tomorrow and the next 20 years!!! We're
not only a full service sales, installation and service department, we are your friends, neighbors and a helping hand along
the way while you are trying to find solutions to financing, help with your case managers, the waiver programs, working with
OT's and PT's and with your local Veterans Administration. We feel that everyone along the way needs a helping hand
or a shoulder to lean on or just plain old INFORMATION.
Because of the substantial success and growth in this area over the
years, we felt it was necessary to better identify this part of our business. We call it "Total Mobility".
Our motto is "Just Go". Our goal with each customer is complete
and total satisfaction in the area of mobility, to improve their ability to travel to a point that they no longer worry about
the previous hassles they dealt with. We want them to be more spontaneous and enjoy the simplest things that we able-bodied
people take for granted. Like driving to the local Dairy Queen for an ice cream, or taking a Sunday drive, just because
we feel like it. Whether it's here in Indianola or traveling across this beautiful country of ours, we want you, our customer
to experience the freedom to "just go"
